Ranma and Lucario

Pokedex Entry: Lucario, the Aura Pokémon, and the evolved form of Riolu. By sensing the aura of its opponents, Lucario can read their thoughts and movements.

As some of you know I had a commission picture done a while back of Rin from the series 'InuYasha' pairing her up with Beautifly from 'Pokémon' to begin what I would like to call it a "Picture Series" of certain characters from Rumiko Takahashi's "Rumic' universe with a specific kind of pokémon .

Well to continue on with that "series" it is time to introduce to you Ranma Saotome from 'Ranma 1/2' and his pokemon partner Lucario.

Lucario was certainly the choice to make as it would be the perfect match for Ranma as Lucario is a fighting/steel-type pokemon with the ability of Aura manipulation which is the ability to manipulate the subtle, luminous radiation that surrounds a person or object. While Ranma himself has what is known as Life-Force Manipulation which is the ability to manipulate the essence of Life, which is present in all living beings throughout the universe.

The one thing I noticed back when I was interested in Pokemon is that Lucario seem to be very dedicated and determined individuals when it came to fighting which was another reason I picked it for Ranma.

Ranma's Lucario would of course know about his curse and would be very accepting about it. Lucario would have a great deal of respect towards his master and hates (although not shown here) Genma, Ranma's father.

As shown in the picture, Ranma did indeed have Lucario back in his pre-evolved form Riolu and even after he evolved their bond would only seem to have grown stronger thru it and Lucario may also be one of Ranma's most trusted friends.
